Emily the Polka Dot Princess!!

I'm so sad it's raining today, sigh... Oh well at least I got to enjoy the weather yesterday. I was suppose to be a good girl and work on editing pictures from last weekend but I couldn't help myself. I did Emily's seven month photo shoot. It was part two or take two. Last time was a last minute thing, I took off because the weather was nice but she hadn't had her nap and I didn't have a lot of time and it just didn't work out how I wanted. So yesterday things worked out much better. I got some good ones that I love, full of her little personality just the way I like them. They're all on her page so you'll have to check them out. We also went on a walk together (Emily and I) and I put her in the swing, she really seems to enjoy it. Jimmy got home from work and we had dinner then his brother stopped by and hung out with Emily while the kids played in the backyard and Jimmy and I went on a nice long bike ride just the two of us. There is this tree back in our neighborhood that smells so good! I wish I could download scents on here. Kaylee and Nathan have really enjoyed playing outside lately, the kids from next door come over and they swing and climb our trees. You know... fun kid stuff. So I cheated a little and did some editing on Emily's pictures.. I'm naughty I know but it's raining and Emily is back here giving me a hand with my work. Actually she's eating sweet potato puffs... Mmm... But I did get some work done this morning and as soon as she takes an afternoon nap I'll get some more done. Now go look at how adorable my baby is!!

Ok well yesterday was so nice out I spent some time outdoors. MmmMmm... I love the smell of spring air!! I was suppose to be editing pictures and being a good girl but spring was calling and so was the sun and I just couldn't help myself. I'll try to do better today but if truth be told it's suppose to rain on Wednesday and Thursday so I'll play catch up then. Emily loves being outside... I took her to pick up the kids from the bus stop and outside on her swing and later she went on a walk as well. Nathan was scared of the swing but Emily seems to love it. Brave girl!! I took Kaylee on a three mile bike ride, pretty good for a little thing. We took our time, enjoyed the air and talked about school and girly things. I'm going to make sure to spend more time with the kids doing something physical. It's important while they're young to establish good habits. Both with eating and exercise. So many kids are overweight it's just sad. I'm doing better staying healthy myself. It will be a year in July since I've had anything from McD's and a year in September for Burger King. Those two are off my list for ever! Ew! Unless I have no choice but to starve. But I tell you one thing I'm not giving up!! That's my summer ice cream.. mmm.. you don't have to give up things for good you just have to be careful and I'll carefully scoop my mint chip in a bowl and be extra careful to make sure I don't drop any of it anywhere but my mouth! Ha! I certainly won't get to the point where I'm eating wood chips like some people you can be healthy without being anal about it.

Emily is such a big girl!! She's pulling herself up on everything now including her toys. Here's a picture of her playing this morning with it. She even goes from one side of the toy to the other!!:
