Crazy couple of weeks.

I'm so behind in blogging... ah!
OK well lets see...
Kaylee had a great family party. I thought I put pictures up here but I guess they are on facebook so check them out there. Boy oh boy did we have a nasty storm the day before my brothers wedding. Whoo! Luckily his wedding day was beautiful! It was a wonderful wedding and we really enjoyed seeing all the family! No pictures ready to post yet, work in progress. The new Mrs. and Mr Koller are doing well. We got to hang out with them Friday night and Saturday.
Friday was a going away party for my cousin Crystal who thinks she needs to go back to Maine. Hopefully we will be seeing her again in a few months. Saturday we went to IN. for fireworks for this coming weekend. C.J. and Rachel went with us and we picked out quite a selection. If all goes well this will be the best year. Let's hope everyone keeps their limbs. We went back to South Haven for lunch and some swimming!! Jimmy's brother caught up with us and my parent's house and took a dip with the family.
Summer swimming update:
Emily likes to jump into the pool (we catch her) and has spent some time getting use to swimmies. Her arm's aren't quite long enough yet but next year for sure! I have a feeling she'll be swimming by herself in a few years time, she is very brave in the pool. Kaylee is once again loving swimming, relearning how to dive this year. She spends her time using a mask and preforming underwater stunts, hand stands, etc. Nathan is my big surprise this year. He has been very nervous in years past with the whole swimming thing. This year he will not where any floaties and has learned how to swim in two days He now swims with goggles under the water like a pro. I can't get him to stay above the water. He dives down to the bottom, twists around, tries handstands, jumps in the pool, swims under peoples legs. I worked with him on swimming under the water across the length of the pool. He now knows how to come to the surface to take a breath, go back under and swim some more even in places he can't touch. This was all in two days time. Last year I could hardly get him to stick his face in the water let alone talk him out of his floaties, now he will not put them on. Amazing what they can do once they're ready.
I'm still having some internet issues after our big storm. I'm hoping we'll figure out things soon so I can post some pictures. We had a big branch fall behind our house, scared me silly. I'm very thankful all our trees stayed up seeing how they are giants!
I'll be doing better posting in July I promise ;-)
This next weekend will be fun, 4th of July BBQ and big fireworks show!

SLEEPOVER!!!

Am I crazy!?!? Six girls, cake, ice cream, Hannah Montana, pizza, pop, sleeping bags... that sounds like trouble. Kaylee had her first sleepover party last weekend. She had five friends spend the night. I have to say, I think it went better then I expected it. I was a little nervous, no joke. Let me just say that I LOVE my basement more then ever now. We let them use that whole space and it worked out so well. They started off dancing and being crazy, using flashlights as mics, you know silly girl stuff. Then we had gooey cheesey pizza and cold pop, a good three pieces each, followed by gifts and then cake with lots of frosting and ice cream (cookie dough of course)! After all that healthy food they went back to the basement to bounce off their sugar highs. Once it was dark enough out we blasted them with bug spray and headed outside for some jail break which ended up being my smartest idea of the day. They played for two solid hours until we had to drag them inside. Jimmy put on E.T. on the big projector which was also a hit and then we ended up turning the movie off early since it was getting so late, 12:30. I went down to say goodnight about five minutes later and everyone was already crashed. So I pat my own head for the two hour jail break, wore them clear out!!! In the morning I made a huge stack of pancakes and then they all headed out around 10. No catty girl issues, I think they were to busy. Kaylee's real birthday is Friday (ten years old) and we'll have a family party that day. Here are some pictures from her sleep over.

Kaylee's party and my will

Whew! Another crazy week!  The kids are done with school now, they are thrilled.  Kaylee's 10th birthday is coming up.  10th!?!?!  CRAZY!!!  I've started to look for wheel chairs, might as well start researching now because time is going by way to fast.  She's having a birthday party tomorrow... sleepover...  I must be nuts!   I hope I'll survive the night.  If not I'd like to leave my awesome wardrobe to my mom since we're both short, my massive amounts of jewelry are to be split between Kaylee and Emily and Nate gets the cameras which he'll use to take pictures of his own butt since he's all boy and for some reason things rear ends are the funniest things.
Now that I have my will figured out, I better get my house picked up and ready!!  I've got the cake, the decor, pop corn, movies, flashlight and all sorts of girly things!!
My brother CJ and his girlfriend are getting married in a few short weeks!!  We recently had a bridal shower for Rachel at my parents house.  I'm so excited for the two of them!!  I've got a few pictures from the shower posted on here.  Also We had a BBQ the following day so there are some pictures from that as well:

Cedar Point/Great Wolf 2009

We had an awesome family vacation last week.  Took the kids to Cedar Point and Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio, everyone had a blast!  We got some great bonding time with the kids, I'm glad we got to go.  Emily did wonderful for being so little.  She loved the rides, even went down baby water slides.  I was surprised she went to sleep in the hotel bed so well, she even took a nap in the park.  Good girl!!  Kaylee and Nate went on their first real (big people" rides.  They did great, were nice and brave.  Kaylee more so then Nathan but thats ok, she is older.   I came back home to a wedding  after having a wedding before leaving too so now I have lots of pictures to catch up on.  Thankful I was able to catch up on the regular sessions before leaving and I have a break this weekend to hopefully catch up.  Whew!!  So this is going to be short and sweet because I've got a billion pictures waiting on the other computer for me to edit them, they don't seem to want to edit them selves dang things.   We have some pictures from a BBQ at my parents house I'll be posting soon too.  Here's from our trip:
