Arr me hearties!!

Wonderful weekend!!
On Saturday we went to South Haven, I had an appointment in the afternoon so I brought up Jimmy and Emily so we could visit with my parents. Kaylee and Nathan stayed in Stevensville and went to the Blossom parade with Jimmy's parents. The weather behaved a little better this weekend so I was actually able to keep my appointment, in fact brought the other camera and came along with. I love when he goes with me!! My parents got a chance to have some one on one time with Emily while we were gone and then my dad and Jimmy took off to watch the Iron Man movie while we took Emily over to visit with the Grammies. For dinner my mom made her home made pizza and a few other people came over to eat.
On Sunday I spent the morning planning a treasure hunt for the kids with clues and they really liked it. I got some video of that I'll have to put on. The weather was pretty nice so we spent some time outdoors with everyone. Jimmy's brother came by and was walking Emily around in her stroller. It's suppose to be another beautiful day today and tomorrow so Emily and I will have to go out and test out her new swing daddy bought her!!

Ok this is a clip from the kids treasure hunt. Jimmy was the wise wizard who gave out clues if they needed one but only if they could make him laugh.

May Day update!

Emily loves all stuffed animals, her bird is one of her favorites:

Thompson Family Update:
First of all I just want to Welcome May, finally the start of green things, warmer weather, birds, flowers, blue skies and more things to do outdoors! It's been awhile so here's a basic update on our family:

Miss Emily: I usually blog all about Emily's latest and greatest on her own blog so check out that for more detailed info. Emily is now Eating more solid foods, I gave her cut up cooked carrots last night for the first time, she loved throwing them on the floor. She eats those little freeze dried Gerber snacks and also those little puff cereal Gerber snacks...loves them. She's been crawling for awhile now and is starting to dance (bounce up and down) to music or with toys. She's been pulling herself up for over a week now and is starting to move around on furniture. Her new thing is trying to climb, up me, up toys up anything. I'm scared.

Mr. Nathan: Is working with Daddy on mastering his bike with out training wheels. He's still full of humor and has been into playing outside after school with kids his age. He still loves anything and everything Mario. He has his first experience making something in the kitchen (cake for my birthday). He basically did everything with Jimmy's help. He pesters his older sister of course but what are brothers for?!?!

Miss Kaylee: Had a friend from School over recently, they giggled and did girly things. She's getting more and more interested in the phone, sigh. She also is more interested in girl stuff, scented lotions and bath gels, pretty earrings. She recently was telling me how her friends like to play soccer and she doesn't so she plays with five boys. I guess she's the princess and they are her loyal body guards. She has a boy who lives a few houses back from us that likes to come over, he has a crush...aww....

Captain Jim Bob: Is now playing softball on one of the Whirlpool teams he's been running with Emily still and invented delicious new dinners. Mmm... He's on a mission to finish Kaylee's room if only there was more time in the day. Sigh.. He loves spending time running after the kids or making Emily laugh. He's finished getting rid of all those stupid fall leaves, whew! He still has been extra romantic and has been really good at giving me breaks when I need them.

Sweetest little lady Jodi (me!): I'm still working out at least three times a week and walking at least three days a week when the weather isn't freezing. I'm getting ready to start my busy season and this year is already crazier then last. I'm looking forward to hot summer days, taking Emily in the pool should be interesting. I've been chasing Emily around a lot lately, this crawling thing is good and bad. Keeps me busy!! I'm excited about getting new neighbors both across the street and next door. I'm hoping they'll be a younger couple with some kids!! Shoot I'll take a younger couple with out kids. I'll keep everyone posted on what goes on with that!

Well we hope everyone is well and enjoying this spring weather (much nicer today). Go leave some flowers on someone's door, isn't that what you do on May Day? Lots of Love!!
