Emily and the post office grannies.

Video of the day:

Emily yelling at her toy while I'm making dinner. Poor pumpkin was really tired so she was totally taking it out on her stuffed animal.

Yesterday I needed to go to the post office to mail a CD. I ended up making it there around lunch time and luckily for me it wasn't busy. There was nobody in line so I went right up to the fist lady. She was older, reminded me of a kind Grandma type. As soon as I got in front of her she started going on and on about how adorable Emily was. "She has the cutest cheeks and the sweetest rose bud lips and ohhh... what a precious button nose and her eyes they're as blue as the ocean". It was really sweet, but after awhile I was thinking...uhhh... can I mail my CD? So she went on and on and soon she had the other lady that was working there in on it and I was starting to think I was on one of those hidden camera shows. Finally I caught a break in the raving and asked if I could mail my CD. I needed to fill out the address section so she talked me into letting her hold Emily (I was kinda scared she'd run off with her). She went on and on the whole time I was filling out what I needed to fill out. "oh look at her sweet little hands, aren't they just so tiny and my goodness she seems small for 4 1/2 months and isn't she just looking around at everything". "Oh Edna (lady that had just walked in) just look at this sweet baby, oh my she's just the sweetest isn't she, she probably wants to stay and help us at the post office doesn't she". Sure lady, let her stay, good luck feeding her. Ha! Then I hear her say "oh doctor isn't this just the healthiest baby, her mommy takes such good care of her". I turn around and it's Emily's doctor, too funny. At least I scored some points with him. So of course he had to step up and look at her. Anyhow I finally managed to get my CD mailed and get out of there. It took 20 minutes and there was no line. Of course as I'm leaving the ladies are yelling out things like "bring her back soon, stop by anytime". Dang it next time I expect some tea and cookies!!

So we make it over to Martins, yippee I just love grocery shopping it's the greatest ever better then Cats. Yeah so anyhow, you wouldn't believe it but the whole time I was shopping people were coming up to me telling me how cute my baby is. I swear it was starting to freak me out. If people aren't careful Emily is going to have a big head.

Cutest baby ever:
