If it snows again I'll scream!!!

Yeah thats right, I'll scream, I most certainly will. Kaylee and Nathan are getting older now, six and eight, so I figured it's time for some good ol' fashioned family meetings dun dun dunnnnn... Maybe meeting is a strong boring word, how about family discussion... talks? Something like that. Anyhow we all get together and talk about anything thats bothering them at home or school and then follow it up with stories of good things or funny things that have happened. The goal... once a week no less then every other week. So I totally need to come clean, I copied an idea my cousin had on his blog. Sorry, it was such a good idea and I thought it would be just perfect for my children, I couldn't help myself. On his blog he has 26 things he'd like to do while he's 26, I read that and thought... wow... thats a sharp idea! We Kollers are rather bright bulbs, so I used his idea and put my own spin on it. I got the kids little mini notebooks and had Kaylee think of nine things she would like to do while shes nine and Nathan has seven things he wants to do while he's seven. They printed each idea on it's own page, that way they could fill in basic info on when they met their goal, date, how they did it, etc. Jimmy and I will help them and we'll talk about how they're doing at our little family get togethers. One of Nathan's is learning how to prepare five foods in the kitchen while Kaylee would like to go on a bike ride with daddy once a week (during nice weather). I really think this will be a good memory maker plus will help them set goals and strive to meet them. So kudos to my cousin! On to other family news... Emily is now all alone in her bedroom. Jimmy and I moved back to our other room and are no longer sleeping in the same room with her anymore. I have mixed feelings about this, I actually don't mind that she's in the room alone but when she gets up for her night feeding I have to walk all the say down the hall to get her which doesn't seem like a lot but if she's having a bad night, like last night then the hall grows to be about ten miles long. Poor Emily had some gas problems in her tummy last night and just fussed every couple hours, I could her hear letting out toots a lot and I could tell she was uncomfortable. Anyhow the nice thing about sleeping six inches away from her was being able to comfort her by reaching through the crib bars and not even having to get out of bed. So today I'm tired and ready for a nap and ready to pick up some baby gas meds. in case we're gassy again tonight. Did you notice Emily's adorable pictures on her blog?! She's so dang cute! I stuck one at the top of this blog, don't you just want to eat her up?! So I'll end my exciting blog with a clip of Emily that I just took, she's boring today so I made up my own fun.
Video of the Day:
Remember I'm lacking sleep so that means I go through the day making up songs:

Also notice when I went back to Emily after filming the car she was on her hands and knees which was what I was trying to capture in the first place. Naughty baby.
